If you have children under 2 or if there is a space available, you will be redirected to aa.com. Once you have your boarding pass, you can scan the barcode at security and at the gate.

American Airlines accepts children over 2 years old. If you are traveling with a baby under the age of 7 days, your doctor will need to complete a passenger health form. Children must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 16. Children under the age of 2 must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 16. All large carriers are equipped with toilets and changing rooms.

Basic Economy passengers are entitled to 1 personal item. Items should be small enough to fit under the seat. Product dimensions should not exceed 18x14x8 inches (45x35x20 cm). All other baggage must also be checked in. Each passenger is allowed one piece of luggage.
The maximum weight of the hands must not exceed:

22 x 14 x 9 inches / 56 x 36 x 23 cm x 23 cm with handle

Baggage dimensions must correspond to airport baggage dimensions.
